At Grace Community Church, our theme for this year is, “Following Jesus Together,” and our key verse is Hebrews 12:2:

“Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

Fixing our eyes on Jesus speaks of united action and single aim. Our prayer is that we as a congregation will come to know him better than ever, love him more and more, to serve him with renewed enthusiasm, and to declare His Name with increasing enthusiasm.

Our strategy for living out God’s plan for us this season, can be explained using three words:

BELONG | You shouldn’t walk alone.

We’re meant to do life together with other believers. When we say we want you to belong, we mean that we want you to:

  • Belong to Grace Community Church in covenant membership
  • Belong to a group where you can know others, be known by others, serve, and live out our mission together

When we walk alongside other believers, we become part of something bigger than ourselve—we belong to a people.

GROW | Healthy things grow

Growth is important for the health of your relationship with Jesus. Whether you’re new to following Jesus or have been following Him for years, we are all called to grow in Christlikeness.

When we say we want you to grow, we mean that we want you to grow in your:

  • Knowledge of God and His Word
  • Character and pursuit of Christlikeness
  • Ability to use the Word in your own life and in the lives of others

At Grace Church this happens through classes, small groups, discipleship, and serving.

MULTIPLY | Let’s go fishing

Living out our mission “Loving people to life,” requires action. To be on mission means that we are actively taking part in making disciples. There are many ways to multiply:

  • Relational evangelism
  • Being part of a discipleship relationship
  • Serving at Grace Community Church or through our ministry partners
